skull buzzzzzzzzzz been rehearsing for the july dates, got a bunch of new stuff in the set. tweaking lyrics, planning, back-boning... the album is slowly coming together. mr tom dolby has been sending me his piano parts and they are stunning. he's got clever fingers. dr james trood has a few songs down, but was set back recently when he was involved in a car crash. he's ok though, his car isnt. alex from nitkowski is working on a song with me, and there is a special guest, who i HOPE will be singing on a song...i dont want to jinx it, so im sshhhing.
im halfway through writing album #6, and there is a chance i will be traveling up to scotland with ellis the dog rescuer to record it before the year is out...
the other day, i received a proof of 'Dot Dot Dot & other works' the lyric book I have been working on with nev bartos. it came out better than i had hoped. it will be out at the end of summer.
taking Venison into the studio in 10 days. very excited. we're gonna get three songs down, burn a million CDs, and leave them laying around.
the Love Among The Mannequins debut album, Radial Images is back from pressing... i have a box of CDs at the foot of my bed. it looks badass, and im proud as heck. we are hatching plans to tour soon, and probably start on another album.
no time for my day job.

moved to north london. living in a rad warehouse with some dudes and some dogs. this is the place i recorded the last album, so i expect i shall get a lot done. been living in the eaves of this work space for a few weeks now, and it is finally starting to take the shape of my bedroom. been working hard on album #5. it's a tricky one. it's gonna get a thick ear if it's not careful. i have had a dumbass idea, about how to follow up this album. think i'm gonna do it. the book has FINALLY reached the stages of proofing. man, this thing has been drawn out. as far as i can work out, it will be out in the summer, and will be followed by the album.
love among the mannequins will be playing a show or two shortly. just waiting for some confirmations.
it looks like Venison will be going into the studio in a week or two. we have three songs, and i plan to burn up 34,085,032 CD's and leave them laying around.

luxembourg was rad... seriously, i didnt want to leave, none of us did, but sadly we had to load the van and leave after tubelord had finished their set. we drove all night, and eventually stopped in the alps at around 8am, and slept some. i woke around 11, the mountains out the window, light snowfall, the smell of toms arse, and kirks penis smiling at me. great. we arrived in Milan in time to load in and soundcheck. i can't say how happy i was to check into the hotel, this place is plush. the rest of the tour is riddled with long drives like the last one.
